Spring Break : Day 7, 8 and 9 (End)

Jour 7

Ca y est! Vous l'aviez remarqué, je suis bien en retard! Il faut dire que j'ai eu pas mal de boulot et de trucs à faire cette semaine mais je compte bien rattraper mon retard. J'ajoute aussi qu'il s'agit de mon dernier article traduit en anglais; on reviendra ensuite à de courts articles comme avant accompagnés de quelques photos. Donc lors du jour 6, nous sommes arrivés à Atlanta où nous avons pu dormir dans un hotel : ALLELUIA! Un vrai lit! Bref, après un rêveil tôt et un petit déjeuner, nous sommes allés rendre le dernier service du voyage : Planter des arbres. C'était dangereux (à cause de la pente et de la présence de dizaines de déchets) et inutile (quand on voit ce qui restait des arbres...). Il y avait une femme qui ne faisait pas grand chose à part nous dire ce qu'il fallait faire. On était beaucoup sur cette pente puisque les autres bus des autres universités prenant part dans l'association nous avait rejoint. Le travail était épuisant et Caroline s'est même blessée mais on est TOUS restés! Et quand je dis tous, je parle de notre bus parce que les autres avaient la flemme, je suppose...

L'après midi était consacré à la visite d'Atlanta. On a commencé par Coca-Cola où j'ai pu tester tous les cocas du monde, tenir la torche olympique des jeux de 1996, contempler des affiches publicitaires du monde entier et ne pas connaitre le secret de la recette Coca-Cola. Ma carte bleue (qui est jaune) est devenue verte de peur quand elle a vu qu'elle a vu que son propriétaire pouvait être dans le rouge s'il s'achetait tout ce qu'il voulait dans le magasin de la marque et pour ne pas qu'elle broie du noir, je n'ai pas vu la vie en rose (Et oui, je suis toujours un p'tit marrant! --' ). Bref, je suis ressorti avec 3 sacs. L'après-midi s'est fini dans les locaux de CNN avant de rentrer à l'hotel.L'association avait prévu une espèce de soirée pour célébrer la fin du voyage très formelle au début. Je me suis retrouvé porte-parole de notre groupe et il a fallu que je fasse un discours en anglais devant 120 personnes alors que je n'avais rien préparé, haha! Aucune faute d'anglais et une standing-ovation! Je suis trop fier haha! Ensuite, on s'est mis à danser (et quand je dis on, c'est zumba avec Alice, haha!). Après, un petit jeu d'horreur et au lit (vers 2h).

Day 7

There we were! You have probably noticed that I'm late! I had a lot of homework but I'll try to write all the article I have to write as quick as possible. This is the last article I will write in English. So, at the end of the 6th day, we arrived in a hotel : ALLELUIA! A true bed! After a good but short sleep, we went to our last service of the trip : We had to plant trees. That was dangerous (because of the slope and because of all the trash we could find there) and useless (the trees won't grow, they were ridiculously small, thin and fragile). That's where I met that girl who was always telling us what to do (like... you know... like) but was doint nothing. At first, we were a lot on that slope because all the buses of the association came but most of them left the slope before the work was done but ALL the members of my bus stayed! I'm so proud of you!

During the afternoon, we visited Atlanta. We began by the Coca Cola Company where I could taste all the cokes of the world, hold the Olympic torch of 1996, see a lot of posters and not discover the secret of the recipe. I bought a LOT of things in the shop (Et non, je n'ai pas traduit la phrase, que croyez-vous, haha!). Then, we went to the CNN studios.

The association had prepared a very formal night to celebrate the end of the trip. I had been chosen to talk in front of all the buses in English to tell an annecdote showing how much this trip was amazing. That was stressful but fun! I got a standing-ovation and made no mistake! O_o. Afterthat, we quickly danced and played an horror-game. We went to bed arround 2.

Jour 8 et 9

Pour faire court, ça nous a pris deux jours pour rentrer en faisant une petit pause pour dormir et manger. La route m'a paru plus courte que je le pensais. J'ai regardé un film : "Evan tout puissant" (qui est la suite de "Bruce, tout puissant"). Je suis un peu déçu que cette semaine soit terminée parce qu'il y avait franchement une bonne ambiance... Maintenant, le bus est vide.

Day 8 and 9

In short, it took 2 days to come back in Ohio. It was shorter than I had expected. I watched Evan almighty! I am so disappointed to leave the bus because I loved the atmosphere of the trip. Now, the bus is empty...
